There is nothing more exciting yet terrifying than bringing a new life into this world. I commend all women for baring us and raising us to the “productive” human we are today. Without mommies we couldn’t exist and that is why today we celebrate this soon-to-be mother, Mrs. Marissa S. Rodriguez.
This weekend I had the pleasure of capturing these sweet portraits of Marissa, with the help of her awesome sister Lorraine, whom I also photographed her engagements and her wedding. We shot at two great places. Archer park and Marissa’s office! I loved the look of both locations because they were both simple but beautiful spots and it really allowed me to highlight our model(s), Marissa and baby Rodriguez.
These are my favorite shots from this photo session. Enjoy

Shevawne or Nikki as she’s known to the rest of the world just got married not to long ago and I’m extremely happy to finally show off some of our favorite shots from her wedding!
She and I go way back to middle school where we first became friends. Nikki comes from a beautiful family and now is starting one of her own with her husband Eric James!
The couple and their daughter had their big day in September! Everything that day seemed to be moving so fast but we captured it as best we could. We were contacted to photograph the beginning part of her wedding up to the portraits. Later a well known and respected photographer capture the evening portion. Growing up with Nikki just made being the photographer for her wedding that much more special. She’s such a strong woman that has overcome many obstacles and seeing her glow that day was priceless!
Because words will not do these photos justice I️ will instead allow you to see her wedding story as it captures through our lens.

Never have I experienced such a unique Quniceañera celebration such as Victoria’s! The party started in the party bus. The turned up the music and had a blast on their way to the McAllen Convention where we took group photos of them. The group also stopped by Ben & Jerry’s for some ice-cream and it was well deserved because it was such a hot day!
Then the best was yet to come. The ceremony and reception both took places at one of the most popular event venues in the Rio Grande Valley, the MarBel Event Center in Edinburg of Alberta Street! Victoria’s them was Enchanted Forest and that’s exactly what you got when you walked into the event center. They transformed this venue to look like something out of a Disney story.
Victoria had a beautiful inanimate ceremony inside Marbel Event Center with her parents and closest family members at her side. She was blessed and then the festivities began! Typically a Quince dances with her dad to a very beautiful sweet song but this time around Victoria and Mr. Villareal danced their hearts out to an awesome mix and then invited Mom in when the DJ played the Macarena. [A little insider: Victoria’s mom’s name is Macarena]. Then Victoria put on two beautiful performances with her court for her guest. As the party continued people danced the night away and then the party got lit as soon as the DJ let the balloons lose and the band got down with the guest!
These are some of our favorite shots from this event.

Sara has been my lighting stand in ever since I starting doing more studio photography and I love the looks and photos we produce of her. This one was from a light sit in from a photo shoot we did with a local Christian Rapper Efrain Salinas.
Then there was this one taken in between a photo shoot. When our client Sara Montoya went to go change we took a few shots to readjust the lighting and this was the result.
This last one was from a Sunday when Sara came to the studio after church to help me and demanded to be photographed because she loved what she was wearing.
Honestly I just wanted to show these off because Sara looks gorgeous in the photos!
