Photo shoots can be intimidating sometimes! Mrs. Pricilla was a little shy at first during her bridal photo shoot but as we shot she loosened up. She chose to go with the a studio photo session. To keep it classic. I’m glad she did because it challenged us to be more creative and experiment. Typically most bridal sessions we do are on-location but this one was different and we love the results.
I’m pretty excited to release these photos because she’s just such a beautiful bride! Take a peek at our favorites from this studio bridal session. Since this shoot Mrs. Priscilla married Mr. Christopher Garcia and you can view their wedding by clicking this link: Christopher and Priscilla Wedding.

We had this bridal session for this beautiful young lady last week. The session took place at the church where Mrs. Mindy Ramos ( now Elizondo) was getting married at and i thought that was perfect! The church was so beautiful with its high ceilings and stained glass that made for this perfect image shown below. Once i got to see her walk out with her dress i thought she looked gorgeous, and no doubt in my mind she was going to look amazing in the shots. She wore a vail that had crystals attached that catch the light and sparkle like little stars. Her bouquet of red, white roses and purple flowers added a pop of color against her white white dress that made the whole look as well.
We posed Mindy in different locations inside and out the church but by far my favorite shots where when she stood in front of the stain glass window. The light lit her from the back that made her look like a glowing angel. Overall loved this session. Thank You Mindy for letting us capture this moment in your life.

In December a coworker asked me if I could take “traditional studio” portraits. If you have seen my work you can see I rarely do studio style work but I took on this challenge.
Monica is a beautiful bride so the images were going to turn out lovely regardless. The lighting was not an issue either but the issue, if any, was going to be in the posing. Typically in the photo shoots I conduct take place at locations with furniture and objects to help with the posing but this time around we shot at my photography studio located at The Grindstone Co Working in Edinburg. We had a gray backdrop and wood floor and that was it.
The approach I took for this traditonial studio photo shoot was to show off two things; her wedding dress and her beauty. I made sure to photograph her from every angle to show off her beautiful wedding gown. Then I also made sure to make her laugh and smile so her natural beauty would shine through the images.
Mrs. Martha, who too is an amazing wedding photographer, looks stunning in her bridal photos. We took these at the Villa De Cortez a reception and event facility located in the center of Weslaco’s downtown historic district. This venue is very romantic and vintage, which is perfect for these type of photos.
On this photo shoot I used a mixture of studio light with a softbox and natural light. When it comes to bridal sessions you want to try to be the most creative you can possible. One of my favorite photos from this set is the 5th photo that has golden light on the bride. Martha was so much fun to work with. Please check out her photography, as I mentioned she’s such a talented photographer.

Another 2012 treasure being released just for you! I really want to go on this rampage of release some of my old work even if it’s not good. Maybe my work was better back then and I need to post these so I can get back on my game? I will let you all be the judge of that!
This bridal photo session was taken at he Quinta Mazatlan World Birding Center. For this session I remember I really tried to use a lot more of the inside and have fun with the lighting. The bride is gorgeous so it was super easy to pose her in any location of the facility. Super props to my best friend Daniela “aka Weta”, who assisted me with this bridal session.
One thing about my photography or my business is that I never fail to give kudos to my support system which includes hired assistance, friends, family or the client themselves. Thank you Jessica Marie Berrones for trusting me to capture these special moments in your life. Many blessings for your marriage and family.
