We took at Alyssa’s Graduation Portraits at the Edinburg City Hall and the Edinburg CISD Administration building. This area is one of my favorite spots for grad photos. Alyssa is a Vanguard Academy Beethoven graduate so these Edinburg buildings seemed perfect for her photo shoot. We shot the first 1/2 of her shoot with her cap and gown and the second 1/2 in a more relaxed outfit. I always encourage my clients to bring two outfits to any of my shoots for variety. I really love the way these photos came out. Check out some of my favorite shots from this graduation portrait session.

Back in the day one of my favorite places to photograph people was at the Edinburg Scenic Wetlands & World Birding Center. I photographed my friend Roxy’s senior portraits here back in 2010. Honestly, I have not gone back to shoot there but would love to check out soon. Enjoy my favorite shots from this fun senior session.

From shooting their engagement photos, to traveling with my team to Fredericksburg, Texas to document their wedding day, I have been photographing Britny and Ignacio’s special moments up to now. Being given the opportunity to once more be a part of another milestone in their lives by photographing their baby announcement was exciting!
Britny had great ideas. She wanted a theater as the location to shoot this announcement. We scouted around town and decided to use the Edinburg Municipal Auditorium and the Citrus Theater located down town Edinburg, Texas. Tell us how we did, these are our favorite shots.
Congratulations, Britny and Ignacio!

To those who don’t know I give private photography lessons to about 2-3 students and at one of my lessons I decided to also become a student of photography and practice shooting 35mm film with my Canon AE-1. We held our lesson at the beautiful Edinburg City Hall located in the heart of the city.
At the scenarios that I setup our returning volunteer model, Ms. Ginger Garza, I also took a few snaps of what my students were capturing and these were my best shots.
Felipe de la Cruz Sandoval, father of missing or slain Mexican student visits South Texas College to talk about their initiative to find their children. Very interesting but hard to photograph. Here are some shots from this event.

There was once upon a time were I shot a quince photo shoot at the International Museum of Art & Science in McAllen, Texas. I am not too sure if they allow photo session to happen at the Museum anymore but at least I got to say I did it. The photo shoot was short and simple. Her Mom didn’t want anything too fancy but did want some unique shots so I think the Museum was the best place to take the photos. Here are some of my favorite shots.
