Mindy and I have been friends since our days back at B.L. Garza Middle School. Many years later, Mindy now teaches at the same middle school. It’s funny how time flies and two childhood friends cross paths again, It’s a beautiful thing when you get to photograph a friends wedding.
Mindy married an amazing guy, Mr. Adrian Elizondo. I really got to know Adrian at their engagement photo shoot in San Antonio, Texas. He such fun guy and very eloquent as well. Mindy and Adrian are perfect for each other!
The couple had their ceremony at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg, Texas (where we also took Mindy’s bridal) and they continued their celebration at Salon Real Del Valle. Mindy looked gorgeous in her wedding dress and Mr. Adrian looked dapper in his tux. Their ceremony was sweet and filled with family and friends. The newly weds then took their formal portraits at their newly acquired home. They thought it would be special to be photographed as man and wife at their very own home. I loved the idea! We then ended the night partying with the couple at their beautiful reception. These are some of our favorite shots from their wedding.

Joe and Theresa’s engagement party was such an adventure.
I took on this event on a Sunday. I first met with Theresa and her mom at Moonbeans in McAllen one afternoon to discuss my services and after just sitting their with them for a while I knew they were the type of people God purposely places in my path to serve. Theresa and her mom are true servants of Jesus and I know that Joe to has dedicated his servitude to the kingdom of God.
In the 7-years I have been a photographer I have photographed 3 traditional indian engagement celebrations but this once was my first Catholic ceremony. It gets better. At our meeting Theresa’s mom wanted to include traditional Mexican cultura into her daughter’s event, so she asked for mentioned that they were looking for a certain type of entertainment for their guest who were visiting the Rio Grande Valley for the first time. Low and behold, they integrated folklorico dancers into the already eventful night of dance performances.
I loved everything about this day. You could really tell how in love Joe and Theresa are. And that’s only because I just met Joe that day of the event since he is from Chicago. I knew we were bros as soon as he shared his love for Taco Palenque A.K.A. Taco P.
The day begin with both my shooting partner Laura Soria and I capturing some precious moments during the couples preparation. From there we then traveled over to Theresa’s home church, Syro Malabar Catholic Church in Edinburg, Texas. They had a beautiful choir and a gorgeous ceremony. Then we made our way over to the Edinburg City Hall to take the couples formal portraits. Lastly we then finished the day at Mayrin Banquet Hall, where the couple celebrated with family and friends.
Enough talk. I will let our images take over the conversation.

So much love for this gorgeous bride! Cynthia Cameron (now Flores) thank you so much becoming my friend, being a Sister-in-Christ, and just overall trusting me to capture some of the most beautiful milestones in your life. I always tell all my clients that you have to love your photographer and us a photographers have to love our clients and I think the relationship and friendship we have built is simply based off that true love Christ has shown us.
Today is a special day for you and Baltazar and I cannot wait to how happy you two will be once the night is over. God bless you and all your family. Cynthia, my Sister-in-Christ, I love you and Baltazar and always know that I am here for you two whenever!
Enough emotional blah blahs! I wanted to share some of all time favorite shots form Cynthia’s beautiful bridal photo session at the Skipper Ranch in Encino, Texas. The first time I photographed at the Skipper Ranch was last fall as a second shooter for Photos by Adriana. It was such a beautiful country wedding and it just brought the Skipper Ranch to life as a go-to premiere outdoor wedding venue. To see some images from that wedding please click on this link: Michael & Tome Fairas Wedding by Photos by Adriana.
When my beautiful bride was looking for a country style venue for her bridals the Skipper Ranch was the very first location that came to mind. I quickly called Mr. Farias to book our session and we made it happen. Ever since that wedding I knew this location would be one of my top places to visit with my clients for my sessions. The Skipper ranch had so much variety to use and I know it made Cynthia very happy. We had the opportunity to shoot indoor and outdoor for a very reasonable rate. I would highly suggest the Skipper Ranch for any type of photo session and outdoor special event.
I present to you Cynthia Cameron’s Bridal session at the Skipper Ranch in Encino, Texas.

Nicole and I have known each other since high school. Although we were not as close, you could never miss such a pretty girl, especially with those beautiful eyes of hers! So how did I end up documenting one of the most important days of her life? My answer; God. God places special people like Nicole into my life so that I may serve them with love. If you haven’t noticed, I am in the business of LOVE.
A little background on the lead up to the wedding. According to the bride, her man came home one day while she was cooking, got on one knee and asked her to marry him. She says it was so random and a huge surprise! It’s been two years of planning but on December 5, 2014, Nicole and Mike secured that proposal.
One thing that was very memorable from the wedding ceremony was when Terry, The Wedding Gal, gave a special message to Nicole and Mike’s son. The message was a promise Nicole made in front of her guest that she would do everything in her power to provide for her new son.
The event took place at one of Edinburg’s best venues, Salon Real Del Valle. The day flowed so well because one of my previous clients and amazing friend Irma Garcia coordinated the whole event with her team. Irma owns a wedding coordinating business called Timeless Wedding & Events, which takes care of the logistics of your wedding day. And because Irma and her team did such a wonderful job with the decor, the scheduling, and the whole event, Nicole and Mike had a wonderful wedding.
