Family is extremely important and the Hernandez family know that! I took the beautiful family photos of Sabrina and her family back in the day, when the McAllen Convention Center wasn’t such a hot spot for photo shoots. Since this family session this family has come to me for various milestones in their lives such as graduation photos, cotillion presentations to various event’s hosted by the Edinburg Boys & Girls Club, which Mrs. Sabrina was the officer for. For those who don’t know, the Edinburg Boys & Girls Club was one of my very firs jobs and I am very thankful for the opportunity to have served as part of this great organization and it’s all thanks to Mrs. Sabrina Hernandez-Walker. This family has always been part of the Ben Briones Studios family and I am always happy to show off their photos on my website.

I have photographed Ale and her family since she graduated from high school a few years back. They are very special to my heart! Looking at these photos you will only see two people but there are three! This family lost their precious mother a few years back and even though she’s not pictured, she is present in the love these two have for each other!
Today we focused the special bond Ale has with her amazing father. We shot in some of their favorite spots around their home and reenacted some poses from our previous family photo session. Ale is also seen in her U.S. Air Force because she wanted to take some photos with her dad before she leaves for her next assignment.
Ale I wanted to let you know that I am very proud of you. I love you my friend and wish you the best. Thank you for always having us around for your families biggest milestones.

There is nothing more special than a holiday gathering with the family. During the Christmas break I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family at their home at the Rancho Viejo Resort & Country Club. Alex Guerra, who I have been friends since middle school, hired me to photographer her family because it was going to be a Christmas gift for her mother.
On that winy sunny day we photographed this beautiful family in front of their home and in an empty field in front of their house. I would say this was one of my shortest family sessions because the family was ready to go. I love how they all united with a similar color scheme and amazing smiles.
I present to you the Solis Family!
Special Thanks: Sara Yanez

Although I do not niche in family portraits I still love to photograph families because it matters. It matters to them and it matters to me. Today I am featuring my latest family portrait session of the Leos family.
I met Mr. Andy Leos at a Holy Ghost revival at a church he pastors about a year ago. Pastor Leos is a family man, an active outdoorsmen, and most importantly a man of God. When he asked me capture some beautiful summer moments with his wife and daughters, I said yes.
Because of my highly active lifestyle I do not spend enough time with my family but when we get together it’s such a blessing. So when I’m asked to photograph a family I take the job seriously. I knew these images really mattered to Mr. Leos when he requested a special photo to be done of him fishing with his two beautiful daughters.
Family photo sessions evoke such an intimate setting. I really loved the way Virgina, the mother, kept the family in check. Their daughters were somewhat shy but you could tell the bond between the two just by looking at how tight they held each other’s hands. You know and most of the time it is the father who is not into the session but I was surprised as to how much Mr. Leos enjoyed the photo session. That only tells me one thing, family matters to him.
