Janet and Chris are one of the most sweetest, fun and energetic couples you will ever meet! And we had the honor of documenting their special day with their loved ones!
The ceremony which was held at Janet’s parent’s house. It was intimate and beautiful. Her closest family and friends all gathered to witness these two exchange their heartfelt vows and celebrate their holy matrimony. The couple had officially tied the knot before but wanted to make a celebration for their loved ones.
The reception that followed after was full of fun, laughter, dancing and even singing! Janet and Chris, thank you for entrusting us to capture this special moment of your lives, we wish you a lifetime of joy and love!

Mindy and I have been friends since our days back at B.L. Garza Middle School. Many years later, Mindy now teaches at the same middle school. It’s funny how time flies and two childhood friends cross paths again, It’s a beautiful thing when you get to photograph a friends wedding.
Mindy married an amazing guy, Mr. Adrian Elizondo. I really got to know Adrian at their engagement photo shoot in San Antonio, Texas. He such fun guy and very eloquent as well. Mindy and Adrian are perfect for each other!
The couple had their ceremony at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg, Texas (where we also took Mindy’s bridal) and they continued their celebration at Salon Real Del Valle. Mindy looked gorgeous in her wedding dress and Mr. Adrian looked dapper in his tux. Their ceremony was sweet and filled with family and friends. The newly weds then took their formal portraits at their newly acquired home. They thought it would be special to be photographed as man and wife at their very own home. I loved the idea! We then ended the night partying with the couple at their beautiful reception. These are some of our favorite shots from their wedding.

I really love this photo shoot! Everything about it was perfect! The lighting, the location and especially the couple. You can just tell how in love they are.
This couple will be getting married in fall of 2017 and wanted to take some beautiful fall photos and what better than a pumpkin patch!
Every year there’s a lively pumpkin patch off Pecan and 2nd Street in McAllen at the United Methodist Church that I’ve always wanted to shoot at. Well during our initial meeting Chris mentioned he wanted to take the photos at the same pumpkin patch, so set the the church as our location!
With a every new location always comes a challenge. Especially one that is lively with visitors. This pumpkin patch shoot challenged my perspective skills, pushed me to shoot angles that I naturally wouldn’t and use colors and framing in he defensive per say.
Not to mention the evening was looking kind of gloomy but I assured my clients that they would love their photos. For most the shots I took the approach of “directing” the candid poses. This is where you have the client do an action and you capture the end result of that action.
I am excited to finally share these beautiful photos with you! Enjoy!

Iliasis Muniz is a super talented up and coming photographer out of the South Padre Island area. She has been creating lively art for her clients for over 3-years now and has big ambitions to expand way beyond the Rio Grande Valley. She’s bubbly, giggly and a lot of fun! Definitely important qualities to have in the photography industry. For anyone who is familiar with photography personality, Jasmine Starr, Ms. Iliasis Muniz tends to remind me of her a lot, but of course, Iliasis has her own flair and unique qualities that allow her to stand out.
I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Iliasis for the first time this past Tuesday. What I really enjoyed was that she turned out to be exactly how you would imagine her being just by her personality on social. And to top it off she was so nice and brought me an unexpected gift. We met at Moonbeans in McAllen, Texas and talked about photography, business and life. Then we produced this pretty cool video interview laying out a little bit of her story. I think till this date this is one of my favorite episodes of The Photographer Series! Check it out, enjoy it, and let us know what you think!
