Bridal portrait sessions are some of my favorite photo shoots to conduct but it’s always so hard to show them off because we have to keep them secret so the groom won’t see them. Here are some I took back in 2014 for Mrs. Stacie at Memory Lane Photo Spot. This venue makes for beautiful bridal portraits because of style of the home and how they family has it decorated. Stacie was also amazing to work with because she trusted my creative eye and was a gorgeous bride. Here are my favorite shots from this bridal session. We recently got help this couple make a special announcement to friend and family. Kelley and Johnathon are having a baby boy! This special photo shoot took place at the famous Memory Lane Photo Spot in Mission, Texas and I think it was perfect for the occasion. Family photos can be nerve reckoning and sometimes stressful when it comes to the outfits you are coordinating for your family, especially if you have a big family. Today I wanted to show off this photo session because they did such a great job. I love the black, red and silver color combo they chose.
Esmer (Mom) put her smallest girls in the same dress because many times the little ones want to match their siblings or for them they do care what you put them in. I do like that she put her oldest girl in a different outfit because you can distinguish that she’s older and plus she matched with her Dad. Esmer wore a beautiful black top with a silver metallic sheer skirt to match her husband’s metallic pants.
What I love about this photo session is every which way you pose the family as a whole or the kids they would match so well. Enjoy!

When planning a family photo session one thing that you need to consider is the location. Living in the Rio Grande Valley we all know it’s extremely hot and sunny so when discussing the photo shoot with my clients I always show them locations that have both indoor and outdoor areas to shoot in. Now, most of the places are going to charge you to use them so you have to prepare for that as well. I have a rule with my clients; if the location is $100 and below I will pay for it, but if it’s more than $100 I asks the client to split the cost with me. I already have a location fee built into my premium portrait packages just in case we do shoot at a place that charges you to use it.
For this particular family photo session we used the very popular Memory Lane Photo Spot located in Mission, Texas. I love this place for family photos because it has both indoor and outdoor variety and the owners are super nice! The place is a one-hundred year old home with lots of character and well decorated. The inside has a beautiful wood finish with a staircase, a piano, and very nice furniture. The outdoors is lush with beautiful landscaping and rustic settings. I have used Memory Lane Photo Spot for all kinds of photos shoots including bridal, engagements, maternity, etc. Here are my favorite outdoor shots of the Zavala Family at Memory Lane Photo Spot in Mission, Texas.

Last weekend we hangout and photographed this sweet couple. They are planning a beautiful wedding in Mexico and needed some engagement photos for the big announcement. I will say that the couple is already legally married but they are still planning, what will be amazing wedding, and only because I am a groomsmen. I am super excited for that!
I’ve known Luis for many years now, maybe like 7 plus years or even more but we have a good friendship and I consider him one of my best friends. He actually helped shape the Ben Briones Studio brand! He and his team created my logo and overall look of my business.
Luis and Maripili are a perfect match. Both of them are extremely creative, compassionate, stylish, and extremely fun! When we were planning their engagement session we decided on something cute and outdoors. The couple has an awesome marketing company that they are successfully running. The first place that came to mind was Memory Lane Photo Spot in Mission, Texas. The spot was perfect because the couple because they wanted to include their new dog. Enough words let’s jump over to these awesome photos of Luis and Maripili and their cute dog!

Dennis and Cynthia gave us the pleasure of entering their world on January 4th of 2017 to photograph their engagement at Memory Lane Photo Spot. Enter their world is what we did as it became immediately apparent that these two lovers co-exist in a world of joy and laughter. It brought a smile to anyone to would stop and witness.
We photographed this fun couple at the famous Memory Lane Photo Spot in Mission, Texas. I really enjoyed photographing the couple at this location because it has so much variety and we felt it allowed the couple to be themselves and just have fun with the place. You will see a lot of genuine laughs and smiles radiating from the two.

A bridal session is a rarity for us at Ben Briones Studios. We have done many and plenty as you can see here on the bridal section of our website but many brides opt-out of the option or up-sell. Then there are those brave brides who do choose to take on a bridal session and risk their dress, pay for a makeup session and hair session. These are brides are the ones who have choose legacy.

In this blog post you will find three things I love the most in the whole wide world. That is; photography, love, and coffee. I photographed this good looking loving couple a few months back and I have am super in love with these images. Amy and Rakesh are young professionals with such a unique love story.
According to Rakesh he met Amy at a coffee shop in Atlanta, Georgia. He made the move to go up and talk to her and know they are to be in a union forever. These young professionals have such a beautiful relationship that is a blurred line between two best friends and lovers.
I love this photo shoot so much because it’s so stylistic without anyone styling anything. It just fell right into place with all color pallets, composition and locations. Memory Lane Photo Spot is always such a beautiful place to shoot at. Secondly, LOVE was truly in the air because this couple just radiated it and then I photographed this session together with my Sara, who is a wonderful assistant. Lastly, Sara and I found a couple who loves coffee as much as we do and we had the pleasure of photographing them at Moonbeans Coffee in Pharr, Texas.
I present to you one of my favorite engagement sessions I have photographed in 2016.

Celina and Mario are such sweat hearts! One of the best couples to work with. They were very trusting in my creative direction and very patient with my ever crazy unorganized business but nonetheless we got work done.
As I was looking over these images to edit them I noticed one thing that stuck out. During this couples first dance, both Celina and Mario never took their eyes off each other. It was such a special moment.
This beautiful wedding took place at Palm Valley Church in Mission, Texas where they had a beautiful ceremony will filled with family and friends. Next, we took over Memory Lane Photo Spot for the formal portraits. And finally they ended the night in elegant celebration at Cimarron Country Club in Sharyland, Texas.
Enjoy this story captured for our special couple.

Another beautiful couples has trusted me with their love story. Denisee and Emmanuel thank you for your time, your intimacy that you shared in front of my camera, and especially for the artistic license you granted me to just have fun during this beautiful photo session.
I have photographed at the Memory Lane Photo Spot countless times but with this photo session I took a different approach. This couple gave me complete trust and in returned I created art out of love. Denisse and Emmanuel were so relaxed, which in turn helped me flow through this familiar place with a different eye and produce these beautiful images.
Denisse and Emmanuel are happily engaged and their wedding is less than 20 days away. They met at Texas A&M University–Kingsville years back and now they will spend their whole life together. Many blessings to this beautiful couple!

My connections to this beautiful family is through one of my very best friends Noehmi Lopez! This is her youngest sister and family! It was a challenge and pleasure to work with them. Photographing children is always a challenge but the results are always pleasing to the soul.
