This wedding was something special for me to witness because I saw Karen grow up. Karen is my best friends sister and because I consider my best friend family, she too is family. What I love is she hasn’t changed much too. Her humor is still awesome and she’s more beautiful than ever.
The bride and groom were already married but wanted to have a grand celebration with family and friends. They got ready at Karen’s mother’s home, where her parents helped them both prepare for the big day. We then took the couple to the beautiful Bryan House in Mission, Texas to take portraits of the couple before their ceremony and reception.
Their ceremony and reception took place at this beautiful elegant venue named Reyna’s Crown in Mission, Texas. I love how simple and intimate their ceremony because what really matters is the person next to you and her and Sergio were totally in the love zone. Right after followed a grand celebration. If you know the Cavazos family they know how to have fun and this wedding was extremely fun! Here are some sneak peeks from this wedding.

There’s this cute little wedding venue in Mission, Texas named The Loretto Bristo and it’s kind of a big deal. I have had the pleasure of photographing two weddings there and both have produced beautiful wedding photos and it’s all thanks to the ascetics of the location. I was also equipped with one of the best shooters in town, Steph Rios, who also took the couples engagement photos a few months before the wedding.
The Loretto Bristo has an airy vintage type of feel with a mixture of summer-time-fun! It’s well lit from the inside and pretty spacious for a small to mid-size event. The couples I photographed at this venue have both got married out back in their beautiful lush green courtyard.
Dominique and Gilbert couldn’t have chosen a better venue. The couple who is also good looking fit right in at the venue. What I loved most about this wedding was the amount of love in the air and how quaint it was. Desiree, the brides sister, recommended me to her and I am very thankful because Dominique was such a fun and sweet bride. The couple completely trusted my shooting partner and I to capture this love story and that we did. Enjoy.

Last year on April 20th I photographed a wedding at The Loretto Bristo located on 1233 E Griffin Pkwy, Mission, TX 78572 for a rockstar bride. The venue was lovely, cute, and cozy. The Loretto Bristo is the perfect place for a spring wedding.
Sara and Isidro are such a great couple. You can see the excitement on both their faces that day. The brides dress was vintage and simple. The groom looks sharp in this gray tux. The wedding flowed so well because the venue has it’s own chapel-like setting right outside its dinner area so guest can walk out and in within a few feet. The venue was lightly decorated because honestly the house decor already made it a fabulous location.
One thing that really stuck out too was the food. It was flavorful and was served in a perfect portion. They also served coffee with the pastries, which was the cherry on top of it all. The couple also rented my photo booth so their guest and family can enjoy. To my surprise the Loretta Bristo has a this smaller room off to the left that we converted into the photo booth area. Everything worked out well.
