Today we photographed this little stud and it was an awesome experience. Back in 2016 I photographed this lovely couples engagement photos and wedding photos. Fast forward two years and look at this lovely family!
We were invited to their home to capture some special moments of them with their child. I love how they dressed in up in a spiffy outfit with a cute little bowtie then quickly got him into his jitsu gi, like his daddy. Here are some of my favorite shots from this photo session.
Special thanks to Sara Yanez.

I first met Ellen Ibarra toward the end of last year. We both belonged to a Facebook group called RGV Photographers. I saw a post she made in which she’s looking for a videographer to help her create an intro video for her website. I responded and told her I had a close friend who could help her. She came by the office to talk to my friend Mike and me about her project idea and we have been in touch ever since. Photography gave us something to relate to but strangely, videography brought us closer.
Ellen is such a sweet and tender person. Today you will see that throughout her video interview. Originally a thirty-minute conversation about her journey as a photographer filled with emotional recollections of events; her story had to be edited to a seven-minute video which shares her struggles and passion for her photography.
Ellen Ibarra specializes in new-born photography and this is her story.
