In 2011 my business was growing fast and we were doing a lot of great work for our clients. I was discovering a lot of new shoot locations and for this bridal we took the risk and used two very accessible and public locations, which is not typical for bridal sessions. These days I am renting very fancy locations for my brides but I am glad to show my beginnings. Michelle, the bride, was a trooper. She trusted our vision!
Her photos were shot in two different locations by myself and my assistant at the time, Ms. Lori Alaniz. Archer park was the more “formal” location then we traveled to a abandoned shack on 10th street in McAllen for the “informal” location. I love the contrast between the two looks and I think it’s always important to try different things for your clients. Here are my favorite shots from this 2011 bridal photo shoot.

Family is extremely important and the Hernandez family know that! I took the beautiful family photos of Sabrina and her family back in the day, when the McAllen Convention Center wasn’t such a hot spot for photo shoots. Since this family session this family has come to me for various milestones in their lives such as graduation photos, cotillion presentations to various event’s hosted by the Edinburg Boys & Girls Club, which Mrs. Sabrina was the officer for. For those who don’t know, the Edinburg Boys & Girls Club was one of my very firs jobs and I am very thankful for the opportunity to have served as part of this great organization and it’s all thanks to Mrs. Sabrina Hernandez-Walker. This family has always been part of the Ben Briones Studios family and I am always happy to show off their photos on my website.
